Music and love have something in common. Music calms us, feeds the soul and makes us happy, love does the same thing.
This Valentine’s day, join the Accra Symphony Orchestra and LUMINA as they treat you to an evening of an awesome musical celebration of love. The event, dubbed “Endless Love” is a musical celebration of love.
It will be a night to experience love like you have never before through the sound of classical and contemporary music.
Since 2012, the Accra Symphony Orchestra has perfected a unique musical style that is rooted, deeply, in the classical foundations of traditional and neo-traditional Africa.
Its aim is to develop a fully-fledged symphony orchestra, par excellence, by 2016, of approximately 140 instrumentalists and singers. The Orchestra is made up of experienced players as well as much younger players.
In 2015, the voice section of the orchestra was launched as LUMINA and constituted the operatic voices. They have been widely successful in their field. The Orchestra players exude an air of confidence on their instruments, and can play music from all world cultures.
The Lumina singers are a spectacle in itself. Made up of 5 men, baritone, tenor and bass and five women, soprano, mezzo soprano and contra alto, they are able to hold listeners spellbound with their enchanting performances, which is due to hours of rehearsal to attain a highest possible level of performance.
