The official YouTube account of afro-pop / beat artiste, Mr. Eazi has been hacked. The incident that happened early this morning has had videos of the artiste with 300,000 views and above deleted.
Mr. Eazi joins the countless list of artistes, institutions, and individuals who have suffered from this malicious act of ‘Hacking’ that destroys businesses and reputations.
The artiste who over the past year and a half embarked on a quest to establish himself as a household name and put his act on top of the rest, signed to Meister Music has produced hit after hit treated us to artful visuals that have now been deleted.
This only begs the question “is someone out to get him?” he has successfully built a name and a number of following that has for the past year grown to new heights and earning him cult like following with his collaborations with Efya, MzVee, Pappy Kojo among others.
This malicious act has however not put down the artiste as he has uploaded the videos again. If anything, this is an inspiration as it puts him in the frame of people appreciating his art. After all, they say ‘hate is confused admiration.’
For all intents and purposes, this sort of behavior has to be condemned. How do you know you won’t wake up one day to see all your hustle turn into nothing? What shows people just can’t sit in the comforts of their rooms to ruin the lives and livelihood of others?
Fellow artistes and followers have been extending their good wishes.
